If you have found your way to my website, it is likely you are just starting out on your wedding journey and you are the owner of a mountainous to-do list!
Firstly, a huge congratulations on your engagement. From my own, recent experience of getting married, knowing where to start can be daunting so, please make yourself comfortable, get yourself a cuppa and let me help you cross one big thing off your ever-growing list of tasks!
PERSONALISED AND MEANINGFUL
I am a Humanist Wedding Celebrant, accredited by Humanists UK and I am based in South West England. I offer non-religious, personalised wedding ceremonies, based around your individual love story. ​
So, a bit more about me...​I'm Amy; a sucker for love stories, an old romantic, I'm obsessed with watching people fall in love and if I could live permanently inside a rom-com, I would. ​​
As a full-time primary school teacher, I realised I needed to pursue a career as a wedding celebrant when I found, and fell in love with, my teaching assistant, Mr. Adam!
Meeting my now-husband, and discovering that 'happily ever after' did exist, made me realise that life is short and I embarked on this career path; one that would help me escape the stresses of teaching, surround me with love and happiness and allow me to meet many wonderful couples.

Hopefully you will know quite quickly if I'm the celebrant for you and it's important you know that there is absolutely no obligation at all. This first meeting is simply for me to find out your initial ceremony ideas and for you to find out if you relate to me and my style. If you decide I'm not for you, I can even give you contact details of some of my wonderful celebrant friends.
LIKE WHAT YOU HEAR?​

If you like what you hear during our initial meeting, that is where the fun and the creation begins! Together, we will decide on the most important aspects of the ceremony for you as a couple. You may be planning your big day on a beach, in a field, on the edge of a cliff- anything goes with a humanist wedding ceremony and with me as your celebrant, I will embrace whatever wonderful venue you choose!
HOW CAN I HELP?
I can help you decide on symbolic acts for your ceremony, whether those be the more traditional acts such as ring exchanges, vows and readings, or if you'd rather something a bit different, we can explore the acts of hand-fasting, sand blending or candle lighting.
Whatever you choose, I will begin writing your ceremony from scratch... there is no copy and paste over here, guys! I am here to create a wedding ceremony that is completely personal to you, written in a way that represents your lives and your journey to this point in your love adventure, celebrating you both as a couple... I basically have the best job in the world!
